One of our favorite times of the year is the livestock show held at the Okeechobee County Fair. Our favorite event held at the livestock show is our All-Star Pig Show led by our very own students and for our students. One of the core missions of this program is to encourage students to mentor their peers. Over the past few years, our adaptive ag kids have had the benefit of FFA student mentors, and thanks to their guidance, some of our high school adaptive ag kids have become skilled at showing pigs. We are excited for them to share their knowledge by mentoring the younger adaptive agriculture students at Yearling Middle.
