🌟The Freshman Campus recently hosted its final Night of Stars, a meaningful tradition dedicated to recognizing students who exemplify high achievement, determination, and a commitment to excellence. The evening served as a celebration of the hard work and perseverance shown by these standout students throughout the year.
What makes the Night of Stars especially significant is its selectivity; each teacher is given the opportunity to choose just one student to honor. This distinction reflects not only academic success, but also character, growth, and the drive to be their very best.
Families were invited to share in the celebration, enjoying a special dinner followed by a recognition ceremony. Surrounded by teachers, peers, and loved ones, each student was honored for their dedication and bright future ahead, making the final Night of Stars a memorable and inspiring event for all.

One of our favorite times of the year is the livestock show held at the Okeechobee County Fair. Our favorite event held at the livestock show is our All-Star Pig Show led by our very own students and for our students. One of the core missions of this program is to encourage students to mentor their peers. Over the past few years, our adaptive ag kids have had the benefit of FFA student mentors, and thanks to their guidance, some of our high school adaptive ag kids have become skilled at showing pigs. We are excited for them to share their knowledge by mentoring the younger adaptive agriculture students at Yearling Middle.
