Literacy Week Activities:
Students from the older grade levels came to read with classes in our younger grade levels! Students also read to stuff buddies to continue with our school wide initiative of read aloud a lot! Mrs. Anover's 4th-grade class took learning to the next level with rally coaching as they practiced the Properties of Addition in Fractions! 🧮✨ Students worked together, coached their peers, and built confidence in their math skills through this engaging and interactive activity. Students in Ms. Moore's 5th grade class conducted a lab using Hot Wheels to explore friction. They tested different materials to see which created the most friction and discovered which material allowed the cars to travel the farthest! 🏎🏁
