🐮Reminder!! Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for this Friday's PBIS event!

Homecoming has started in full force with tacky tourists invading our campus!!! 📸🧢👒🏖️🩴

Grateful for our Career and Technical Education courses for their constant commitment to enhancing our learning environments. Recently, our digital class received new chairs for our students. Your efforts to advance our courses are much appreciated by them and show your dedication to their success.😎

Layla Dobbins received the "Artistic Award" this week from her English teacher. Keep smiling, Layla, and continue building relationships with your teachers. Strong relationships are the foundation of a positive classroom environment. When you connect with your teachers and classmates, it creates a space where everyone feels valued and understood. These connections foster trust, encourage collaboration, and make learning more enjoyable. 😁💜💛

✨DIT Students of the Week⭐️ These Brahmans showed "outstanding collaboration, work completion, self-advocacy, and willingness to help others." 👏🏼

PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. At OFC, we use Brahman Bucks as a way to reinforce positive behavior. Today, Remington Maupin received Brahman Bucks for turning in money she found. Good job Remington! 👏🏼See you at our PBIS event next Friday!😉

🐮Today is the last day of the first 9 weeks and Mrs. Bates is celebrating. She would like to congratulate Jacqueline Toj Santos and Evelyn Argueta for getting the highest grades for her first and second periods. We are so proud of you girls. 🫶🏽 Brahmans, make sure you leave today with zero missing assignments in Skyward.

🐮Brahman Way Shoutout⭐️
We would like to recognize Liniya Newton for demonstrating "The Brahman Way!" Liniya, you have truly embodied our school motto, "Move Forward and Be Great!" You have shown that with determination and effort, you can achieve your goals, no matter the obstacles. Your commitment has not gone unnoticed. Mrs. Brown is so proud of all you've accomplished thus far. Keep up the fantastic work! We can’t wait to see what you achieve next.💛💜

Mrs. McCoin would like to share some of the projects being created inside her classroom. She has a lot of talented students who are eager to learn through creative hands-on activities. Thank you Mrs. McCoin for letting us get a sneak peek into Holocaust History. 🌎

🎊Brahmans: We've extended our deadline!!! However, Homecoming dance tickets are selling fast! Today and tomorrow, they are $35 on our campus. Next week, they will be $40 at OHS main campus. Don't miss out on this great event! 💃🏽🕺🏽🪩

🐮Brahman Way Shoutout⭐️
Ms. Mulvey would like to thank Juan Cornejo for being responsible and always making sure that he e-mails if he has any missing work or if he has any questions. It is so important for students to start advocating for themselves when they enter 9th grade. Ms. Mulvey also states that Juan is super polite and respectful. These are all amazing qualities Juan and thank you for showing "The Brahman Way!" Your actions did not go unnoticed.💜💛

Happy Boss's Day, Mrs. Vicki Goggans💛💜We hope you know your faculty and staff appreciate you and are grateful for the way you lead. You give it your all and have truly made our campus your second home. P.S. Are cake funds running low yet? Because we have SO many to celebrate on our campus😂🎂

⭐️Students of the Month [October]⭐️ Keep demonstrating the Brahman Way! We see you. 💛🫶🏽 Here are some of the 11 students specifically chosen by each department as superstars for October. Ms. Mulvey would like to spotlight her student, Christian Espinoza-Ruiz. Christian always greets Ms. Mulvey in between classes and has a smile on his face. 🐮We are so excited to be back on campus and ready to see our students tomorrow morning. If you are still in need of assistance, please reach out and we will try to help or direct you to resources. 🫶🏽 As soon as decisions are made for possible make-up days, we will let everyone know.

🎊Reminder: Our first PBIS event of the year is scheduled for October 25th from 12:00 PM to 1:40 PM. To be eligible to attend, students must not have received any referrals starting from October 15th. 🎊Happy Birthday to our Resource Specialist, Mrs. Nancy Aaron. Mrs. Aaron volunteers in countless roles in our school. So many events have been made possible because of you. We hope you enjoy your special day. Brahmans, finish off strong and make Mrs. Aaron proud.🐮💪. She believes in you.🫶🏽

Today, we take the time to honor our Instructional Coach, Mr. Jeremy Goff. He is always available to lend a hand to both teachers and administration. We love having him as part of our Brahman family, where he serves as a coach, a mentor, and a friend to all. Thank you for welcoming kids to the library and providing a safe space. You always go the extra mile. P.S. We hear he has a birthday coming up soon. 😉🎂 Take the time to celebrate him when you see him around our campus this month.💛💜
