Did you know this Sunday is National School Librarian Day?

At Central Elementary, we couldn’t wait—we started celebrating early! Today, we recognize one of our amazing specials teachers, Mrs. Kinty.

Mrs. Kinty is truly beloved by our students. When asked about the library, the response is always the same: “She’s the best!” Students look forward to their time in the media center, where she creates a welcoming space that inspires a love of reading and learning.

Thank you, Mrs. Kinty, for all that you do to support our students and bring books to life each day.

At Central Elementary, our paraprofessionals choose to Be the One—every single day.

They show up with heart, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to our students. Their work may not always be in the spotlight, but its impact is felt in every classroom, every smile, and every moment of growth.

They are truly invaluable. They are hardworking. They are difference-makers.

Today and every day, we celebrate our amazing paraprofessionals. ❤️🩶🐾

Report cards are going home today, Panthers! 🐾

This is a great opportunity to celebrate your child’s growth, hard work, and accomplishments so far this year. Take a few minutes to review the report card together, talk about progress, and set goals for the final stretch of the school year.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s progress, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher.

Let’s finish strong, Panthers!

👀💬 See Something, Say Something Week continues!

Yesterday was Trusted Adult Thursday — a powerful reminder that no one has to handle things alone. 💙

Our students took time to recognize the trusted adults in their lives — the ones who listen, support, and help keep them safe. Whether it’s a teacher, staff member, or family member, having someone you can go to makes all the difference.

At Central Elementary, we’re proud to build a culture where every voice matters and every student knows:
✨ You are seen
✨ You are heard
✨ You are supported

At Central Elementary, our Panthers showed what it means to Make a Difference this Wednesday! 🐾

During our “See Something, Say Something” week, students stepped up in the best way—spreading kindness, looking out for one another, and using their voices to make a positive impact.

From our fun Photo Booth to countless random acts of kindness throughout the day, our school was filled with smiles, support, and Panther pride.

Because even the smallest act can make the biggest difference.

Although not everyone was able to enjoy Field Day due to the rain, here are some pictures of the students who did get to participate. A special shout out to Coach Spearow and our Specials team for always doing such a wonderful job organizing this highly anticipated annual event. Their hard work and dedication make it a memorable day for our students every year.

Due to the weather and muddy field conditions, Field Day for Kindergarten and 1st Grade has been cancelled for today.

We know our youngest Panthers were excited, and we are very disappointed, too. Unfortunately, the rain has left the fields too wet and muddy for students to safely participate.

Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your continued support. 🐾

🌧️ Field Day Update – A Little Rain Never Hurt a Panther! 🐾

Okay… which one of you ordered the rain for Field Day?

Unfortunately, we had to cut Field Day short for our 4th and 5th grade students due to the rain. The good news is that everyone is safe and students were having a great time before the weather rolled in!

Yes… students did get a little wet while enjoying the activities prior to going inside If parents would like to bring a change of dry clothes for their child, you are more than welcome to do so.

We are watching the radar closely and will make a decision about Kindergarten & 1st Grade Field Day closer to 12:00 PM today.

Thank you for your flexibility as we work around the Florida weather! ☔
Stay tuned for updates!

Today, Central Elementary briefly implemented a precautionary lockdown out of an abundance of caution. At no time was there a confirmed threat to our campus.

Our staff followed established safety procedures, and the situation was quickly resolved. The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority, and we appreciate the cooperation of everyone involved.

All students and staff are safe, and normal activities have resumed. Thank you for your continued support of Central Elementary.
