Welcome to Central Elementary! We are a K-4, Title 1, school that has been serving generations of Okeechobee families for 50 years. We are centrally located in beautiful, downtown Okeechobee, Fl. Our school of less than 500 students, offers small classrooms and a friendly staff.

    We are also a K-4 Dual Language School. We offer a Spanish-English Dual Language program.  The Bilingual Academy of Spanish and English (BASE) involves two teachers at each grade level to provide instruction in two languages. 

   Here at Central, we take pride in our excellent teaching staff. Our desire for achieving excellence has consistently earned all A’s and B’s in the Florida Accountability Program. This is due to a joint effort  including students, staff, and parents. We are proud to have achieved our “A” status in Florida’s School  Accountability program for 2010-11.
